AK Consulting Group is a Certified Minority Business Entity with our corporate office in Tallahassee, Florida. We are a diverse group of professionals committed to excellence and work with clients across the state of Florida and in the southeast United States in the areas of human resource consulting, management consulting and conference planning. We offer full service conference planning from conception to completion, and management consulting services including strategic planning, project management, facilitation, training development and delivery, and workforce initiatives. Our specialty is bringing people and ideas together to strengthen an organization’s mission in all facets of our work. We will work with clients to identify goals and needs for each project and then plan a customized strategy to achieve those goals.

Amy Karimipour, SPHR

Amy KarimipourAs the founding member of AK Consulting Group of America, Ms. Karimipour has over 15 years of professional experience in making things happen.  She has served in senior leadership positions in both the public and private sector and has been an integral part of many workforce development and change initiatives.  Ms. Karimipour has a keen sense of what is needed to make meetings become places where people connect and action begins.  She has designed and implemented leadership programs to address professional growth, career path and retention needs of organizations.  Ms. Karimipour holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from Marymount University and a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Florida State University.  

Annette Kariko, Consultant

Lisa WubbenaAnnette joins AK Consulting Group with over 12 years of experience in customer service in the public and private sector. Most recently, Ms. Kariko coordinated competitive leadership programs, statewide training events, and curriculum development projects for a large state agency. One of her responsibilities was the management of the premier statewide child welfare conference for over 2,100 participants. In previous roles, she managed staff and projects in the private sector with a focus on building long term client relationships and adding value to the bottom line. Annette Kariko graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts. She is highly organized and instinctively creative. Her positive attitude and warm personality create an environment for successful collaboration.



Pat Conner, Office Manager/Consultant

Lisa WubbenaPat is an integral part of making meetings a success. She provides administrative and registration assistance pre-event and on-site. She is very customer focused and will help ensure your attendees are well taken care of. As office manager, Pat ensures that operations run smoothly so that principals are able to focus on meeting client needs.
